نحن أبناء الجالية السورية في ماليزيا، تجمعنا القيم الأصيلة والانتماء العميق لوطننا، ونؤمن بأن خدمة الإنسان ليست خيارًا بل مسؤولية، وأن العطاء هو جوهر الانتماء. جاءت مبادرتنا لتأسيس مجلس الجالية السورية كمشروع مجتمعي تطوعي مستقل، نابع من أبناء الجالية أنفسهم، يسعى إلى بناء كيان موحد يمثل السوريين في ماليزيا، ويعبر عن تطلعاتهم، ويخدم احتياجاتهم الاجتماعية والتعليمية والمهنية، بعيدًا عن أي انتماءات سياسية أو طائفية. نعمل بروح الفريق الواحد لتقديم حلول عملية ومبتكرة تلامس واقع السوريين، وتعزز تماسكهم واستقرارهم، من خلال تنظيم الجهود وتفعيل الطاقات وبناء شراكات فاعلة مع الجهات الرسمية والإنسانية في ماليزيا وخارجها. نؤمن أن العمل الجماعي المنظم هو الطريق الأقصر نحو التمكين، وأن كل فرد قادر على أن يكون فاعلاً وصاحب أثر في مجتمعه. رؤيتنا أن نكون نموذجا حضاريا لجالية متماسكة تسهم بفعالية في نهضة أبنائها وتعزيز حضورهم في المجتمع الماليزي.

الرؤية

أن نكون نموذجًا رائدًا للجاليات السورية في الخارج، يُعزز التماسك والتنظيم المجتمعي، ويُمكن السوريين في ماليزيا من بناء حياة مستقرة وفاعلة، مع الحفاظ على هويتهم، وتعميق جسور التعاون الثقافي مع المجتمع الماليزي.

الرسالة

تمثل الجالية السورية في ماليزيا وندعم أفرادها عبر مظلة تطوعية مؤسسية، تُقدم برامج تعليمية، اجتماعية، وإنسانية، تعزز الانتماء، وتوسع الفرص، وتسهم في بناء مجتمع سوري متماسك وممكن.

الأهداف الاستراتيجية

ينطلق عمل المجلس من وعي عميق بواقع الجالية السورية في ماليزيا، ويسعى - ضمن الإمكانات المتاحة وبروح الشراكة والمسؤولية المجتمعية - إلى تحقيق الأهداف الآتية:

بناء علاقات استراتيجية

تعزيز العلاقات مع الجهات الحكومية والمؤسسات الماليزية

مد جسور التعاون مع المجتمع الماليزي ومؤسساته الأكاديمية والإنسانية

تطوير الشراكات مع المنظمات الدولية والجهات المانحة

 التأسيس القانوني والتنظيمي

تقنين وضع الجالية وتسجيلها رسميًا وفق القانون الماليزي

الحصول على اعتماد رسمي من السفارة السورية كممثل شرعي للجالية

إعداد نظام داخلي يعكس مبادئ الشفافية والحوكمة ويضبط آليات العمل المؤسسي

3. Addressing Legal and Living Challenges

  • Follow up on the main legal and living issues facing community members.
  • Strive to provide guidance and information regarding residency, bank accounts, and health insurance in cooperation with relevant authorities.
  • Contribute to following up on humanitarian and emergency cases, including detention issues, within the available and legitimate framework.

4. Supporting Education and School Establishment

  • Overcome difficulties hindering the education of Syrian children in official or alternative schools.
  • Study the possibility of establishing an official educational project serving Syrians when suitable conditions and sufficient support are available.
  • Contribute to following up on humanitarian and emergency cases, including detention issues, within the available and legitimate framework.

5. Empowerment and Capacity Building

  • Provide training and rehabilitation programs targeting youth, women, and professionals
  • Invest in educational and professional opportunities and grants available within Malaysia.
  • Offer workshops and skills courses in cooperation with specialized entities to enhance employment opportunities and economic participation.
  • Stimulate small projects and link them to available funding opportunities.

6. Identity, Culture, and Belonging

  • Organize social, cultural, and recreational activities that enhance Syrian identit
  • Instill values of solidarity and belonging among community members.
  • Promote the positive presence of the community within the Malaysian fabric as a civilized and integrated community.

Focus Areas

1. Legal and Organizational Track

Legalizing and officially registering the community, following up on legal affairs, and promoting compliance with Malaysian laws to protect rights and regulate community work.

2. Educational and Developmental Track

Providing educational support for children and youth and organizing training and developmental programs that enhance capabilities and open up future horizons.

3. Social and Humanitarian Track

Providing social services and humanitarian aid, and supporting special and emergency cases within available resources and with a spirit of solidarity.

4. Cultural and Media Track

Highlighting Syrian identity through cultural events and national occasions, and producing media content that expresses the community and enhances its positive presence.

5. Youth and Professional Track

Empowering Syrian youth and preparing them for integration into the labor market, and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives and small projects.

Focus Areas

Legal and Organizational Committee

Concerned with preparing the internal regulations, following up on the legal aspects of the community, and communicating with official authorities to ensure compliance and organization.

Development and Empowerment Committee

Works to qualify community members intellectually and professionally through training programs, educational opportunities, and support for developmental initiatives.

Community Services and Coordination Committee

Provides social and humanitarian support to community members, follows up on emergency cases, and coordinates efforts with charitable and supporting institutions.

Media and Communication Committee

Expresses the voice of the community and manages its media platforms, and works to build a positive image of the community through media campaigns and continuous coverage of activities.

Activities Committee

Organizes cultural, recreational, sports, and religious programs that enhance belonging and support positive interaction between community members and Malaysian society.
